How Not to Get A Job: It's a Small World After All

Last year on The Cedar Room, blogger Darren recorded the hilarity that ensued when a candidate forgot to reinstall Manners 1.0 before beginning a job search.

Example: When Darren's co-worker (probably HR) tried by e-mail to brief Mr. Candidate on the hiring process, Mr. Candidate sent the following message in reply.
"I would be happy to undergo a 2 hour interview process for a full-time or semi full-time position. But, for a part-time position, based on by background and qualifications is nothing short of ridiculous, not to mention insulting. When you people get over yourselves, get in touch when you get the picture. Not before."
End of story - right? WRONG. Six months later, Mr. Candidate applies to the same company (and the same recruiter) all over again. But of course, Mr. Candidate has a snappy comeback for everything.

Sometimes, we're glad we don't hire these people.
